bearing down
upon me
the challenge that i face
hold up, raise the bar
before i scream

this anger eating at me
the pointed finger
and raised voice
chanting curse
you want to be bought -
- you want something
for free.
well, i've listened
and kept my patience
hunkered down
and turned the other cheek
but i am afraid, i know my mind
and none of you deserve a thing!
what is this criticism and screaming orders,
really all about?
if you don't like me then why for the love of me
